Update for Sunday 5/17: The ground is too wet for Jr. Cappy Picture Day this morning. We will reschedule. No Jr. Cappy pictures today.
The weather for this afternoon is still up in the air so we'll evaluate this afternoon's shoot for the Majors and make an annoncement later this morning. As of now, the Majors are still on.
Hi Parents,
Picture day is upon us once again. As a parent I know how hectic weekends are and I want to thank you all for participating.

Over the next two weekends we'll take thousands of team and individual photos, select the best of them and put them online. As soon as the pictures are ready, we'll email you a link to the gallery for you to browse at no cost. If you see one you like you may order prints, packages, buttons, magnets, etc., pay online and your order will be mailed from the printer directly to your house. There are no forms to complete on picture day and no pre-paying for pictures you haven't seen.
I have also taken action shots during some of your children's games and if you would like to include an action shot with your package, in addition to or instead of the formal pose, please let me know and I'll tell you how to do that.
Here are a few guidelines to ensure the photo sessions run smoothly:
- Please be on time. This means being at the field at least 5 minutes before your scheduled time. Last year we stayed on schedule for all of the shoots.
- Please wear your complete uniform including hat. If your child wants their picture taken with their bat or glove, bring that too (although we have bats as well).
- Please come to Picture Day even if you have no plans to buy any photos. Your child's teammates want the entire team in the team photo.
- If your child has a conflict and can't make their scheduled time then just show up any other time we're shooting and we'll squeeze them in.
- If you would like a picture of your children together or if you're a coach and want a picture with your son/daughter let us know and we'll squeeze that picture in as well.
- When you arrive, we'll give you a paper with your child's information and email address. We'll ask that you correct or add/remove the email addresses so that we can notify you when the photos are ready
- Rain may force us to cancel a session and reschedule on the rain date. Because we're not on the fields we will not follow the field closures. We may be able to shoot even if the fields are closed. We will post any cancellation or changes on the league's website. It is possible that we may have to cancel only a morning or afternoon session so if there is any doubt please check the website for updates.
- If your family would like a photo but are facing financial difficulties please contact me directly at shelby@levino.net after the photos are online.
